Install
Needs env vars: SLACK_BOT_TOKEN, SLACK_TEAM_ID — replace the <placeholders> with your values.
Optional SLACK_CHANNEL_IDS limits the channels. Archived upstream; the npm package still works.
claude mcp add slack --env SLACK_BOT_TOKEN=<SLACK_BOT_TOKEN> --env SLACK_TEAM_ID=<SLACK_TEAM_ID> -- npx -y @modelcontextprotocol/server-slack/mcp confirms it's connected.
Or add it manually in ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
