Install

Needs an env var: DATABASE_URI — replace the <placeholders> with your values.

Restricted mode is read-only; use --access-mode=unrestricted to allow writes.

claude mcp add postgres-mcp-pro --env DATABASE_URI=<DATABASE_URI> -- uvx postgres-mcp --access-mode=restricted

/mcp confirms it's connected.
