Install
Needs an env var: OBSIDIAN_API_KEY — replace the <placeholders> with your values.
Needs Obsidian's Local REST API plugin; OBSIDIAN_HOST and OBSIDIAN_PORT are optional.
claude mcp add mcp-obsidian --env OBSIDIAN_API_KEY=<OBSIDIAN_API_KEY> -- uvx mcp-obsidian/mcp confirms it's connected.
Or add it manually in ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
