Install
Needs env vars: JIRA_URL, JIRA_USERNAME, JIRA_API_TOKEN — replace the <placeholders> with your values.
For Confluence add CONFLUENCE_URL, CONFLUENCE_USERNAME, and CONFLUENCE_API_TOKEN; Server/Data Center uses a personal access token instead.
claude mcp add mcp-atlassian --env JIRA_URL=<JIRA_URL> --env JIRA_USERNAME=<JIRA_USERNAME> --env JIRA_API_TOKEN=<JIRA_API_TOKEN> -- uvx mcp-atlassian/mcp confirms it's connected.
Or add it manually in ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
