Install
Needs an env var: GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEY — replace the <placeholders> with your values.
Archived upstream; the npm package still works.
claude mcp add google-maps --env GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEY=<GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEY> -- npx -y @modelcontextprotocol/server-google-maps/mcp confirms it's connected.
Or add it manually in ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
